The next tip is to go for the big score. Throw away the four card flush or open ended straight draw in favor of the 3-card Royal draw. This is a tough one for most people, because nearly every time it is not going to pay off. The reason you are doing it though is to have a chance to hit the Royal. Most of the time it won’t happen, but it increases your odds, and that is the goal. You want to hit the jackpot, not the flush or straight.
Your next tip is to always go for the flush over the straight because it pays more. The next tip is to not get carried away chasing after a single Ace. Actually the Jack is a better card for you because it gives you more ways to hit a straight. Remember that holding a King, Queen or Jack is better than holding an Ace because you can make straights both ways.

You are going to have to make decisions on these hands and your best bet is to go for the big score. That is why you need to be prepared with a proper bankroll and the proper patience if you are to have a chance at hitting the jackpot. If you are just looking to grind it out, then be prepared to lose in the long-term. If you want to win then you must hit the jackpot at least once in a while, and that takes changing your mindset and your strategies.
